VMC GO
THE COMPANY
VMC is a Dutch startup based in Amsterdam. The company focuses on developing a Blockchain solution for smart and autonomous driving transportation. Together with the client, developers and consultants, I started working on the project. During the design process, I am responsible for elaborating the UX & UI Design of the VMC GO APP.
VMC describes itself as a company that has found Blockhain solution connecting passenger to vehicles and vehicles to each other to build complete decentralized transportation infrastructure. Using Blockchain technology and artificial intelligence, they create a smart grid that acts as a perfect marketplace.
THE FIRST BLOCKCHAIN BUS
A major Dutch Public Transport company is set to be the first with an active bus line powered by Blockchain technology. The total of 12 buses are equipped with VMC hardware terminals and VMC wallets, allowing them to receive VAI tokens from the first users of VMC. The pilot is the first phase of a large project connecting buses, bikes, streetcars and trains to the VMC Blockchain in an area – with more than 1 million daily travelers in the Netherlands.

THE RESULT
Passengers no longer have to worry about losing their travel tokens. In addition, other key benefits of using VMC for any user include; Easily recharge your travel product by purchasing tokens through a mobile device or Peer-to-peer token sharing with other users.
